Connect your email
Send quotes and replies from your own address.
You don't have to. From the day you sign up, Gearloom sends your emails as your shop, from yourshop@mail.gearloom.app, and customers' replies come into your Gearloom inbox. Connecting your own email is worth doing when you're ready, so mail comes from your own domain.
Gearloom sends your quotes, replies and reminders through Resend, an email service, from your own domain (for example team@acmewraps.com), and brings customers' replies back into your inbox.
- Create a free account at resend.com, add your domain under Domains, and add the DNS records it shows you where your domain is managed. Wait for it to show as verified.
- Create an API key and copy it.
- In Gearloom, go to Settings > Integrations > Email (Resend). Paste the API key and enter your sending domain. Save.
- For customer replies and open tracking: copy the webhook address shown there into Resend > Webhooks, then paste the webhook's signing secret back into Gearloom.
- In Settings > Business profile, set the from name and from email customers will see.
